The right size is the longest bar that fits where you want to mount it, without covering the grille or the number plate more than the rules allow. Measure the space first, then choose length.
Which sizes are there?
Our LED bars go from about 21 cm to 135 cm. You can filter by size under LED bars: under 40 cm, 40 to 80 cm, 80 to 120 cm and over 120 cm.
Under 40 cm: where does it fit?
Short bars fit in small grilles, on ATVs and snowmobiles and as a compact light on vans. They are easy to place where space is tight.
40 to 80 cm: the common choice for cars
Most cars and SUVs get a bar between 40 and 80 cm in the grille or low in the front. Twilight 300W at 508 mm is a common fit here.
80 to 120 cm and longer
Longer bars suit pickups, large SUVs, vans and trucks, on the bull bar or the roof. They give more width but also take more space and power.
What else should you check?
Check that the bar does not block airflow to the radiator, and that the reference numbers of all high beams add up to no more than 100. Plan where the wiring will run before you order.
