Extra lights for a truck must handle 24 V, cope with long hours of vibration and give enough reach for heavy vehicles at speed. Most of our lights work on both 12 V and 24 V.
Do the lights work on 24 V?
Yes, most of our LED bars and driving lights work from 10 V or 9 V up to 32 V or 36 V, so they fit both cars and trucks. You find the voltage range under Specifications on each light.
Driving lights or a long bar?
Many truck drivers choose two to four round driving lights on the bull bar, which give a strong beam far ahead. A long LED bar on the roof or bull bar adds width. You can combine them as long as the reference numbers add up to no more than 100.
What about the position light?
Stellar Dynamic 9 inch has a position light in white or amber. Many drivers run it as a parking light, which also gives the truck a recognisable look.
What else do trucks need?
Work lights, reverse lights and marker lights make loading and reversing in the dark safer. You find them under work lights.
